Ski & Snowboard
Explore the mountains!
Baldy Mountain offers an experience like no other. With an average of 25 feet of powder per year, excellent daily grooming, and a wide variety of terrain to choose from, Baldy, on the boarder of South Okanagan and West Kootenay, will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Two peaks, groomed corduroy cruisers, open gladed areas, iconic snow ghosts, and powder stashes for days, can be found within the 600 acres of terrain. All of this, without the massive lift lineups! Come and experience this hidden gem for yourself!
Snowshoeing
Baldy Mountain offers snowshoe trails for beginners and experienced alike. Snowshoeing is a great activity for those who want to go at a slower pace and take in Baldy’s incredible views while others are skiing or riding. Bring your own snowshoes, or rent from our rental shop and explore! Experience the view at Gilly’s hut, a cabin hidden at the top of our trails. After a refreshing trek on the mountain, head to the renovated Baldy Bar and wind down with a cocktail and some warm food.
Tubing
Enjoy the rush!
Experience Baldy Mountain without hitting the slopes. In 2023, Baldy cut in a dedicated tubing lane accessed by the Magic Carpet. Enjoy a thrilling slide on a single tube, or double tube with a friend. Whether you aren’t a skier or boarder, or you just want to do something a bit different after a day of hitting the slopes, Tubing is something the whole family can enjoy.
Disc Golf
Looking to try something new with friends while taking in the stunning scenery? Give our Disc Golf course a try! Easily accessible and located close to the lodge, our 18-hole object course (the marked trees are the “baskets”) can be a fun way to play at Baldy Mountain Resort. It’s a great activity for non-skiers to enjoy together, and it’s fun for skiers and riders to wind down after some exhilarating runs on the hill. Free disc rentals and scorecards can be found in the ticket office, and the course is available all week! In winter, the course is groomed!
