Blue Grouse Gondola

Grouse Mountain's new state-of-the-art gondola officially opened on December 12, 2024.
The gondola features a total of 15 towers and 27 eight-person gondola cabins, and a trip time of 5.5 minutes, allowing the new lift to operate at an initial capacity of 1,000 people per hour on a continuous loop.
Since the world’s first double chairlift was built at the Resort in 1949, Grouse Mountain has had a rich history of investing in modern recreational technology. The installation of a new gondola will support continued investment in the world-class experience Grouse Mountain offers and ensure Vancouver’s number one natural attraction is accessible for generations to come.
Kids Tree Canopy Adventure™
Climb from treehouse to treehouse through cargo nets, balance games and wavy bridges! Get your feet back on the ground through the curly slide or the obstacle chimney! This adventure is fully contained and requires no special safety equipment. Open to all ages, but ideal for ages 3-8.

Skyride Surf Adventure®
Soar on top of the Skyride!
Feel the wind on your face as you travel 1,610m on the rooftop of the Grouse Mountain Super Skyride! You will be part of a small group accessing this special viewing platform. Your Guide will give a short, informative overview of the mechanical structure of the Skyride and will identify key landmarks and facts as you look out to either the Coast Mountains or the Lower Mainland.
Peak Chairlift
Soaring to an altitude of 4,100 feet above sea level, our scenic Peak Chairlift will transport you to the apex of Grouse Mountain in a ride time of fourteen minutes. At the summit, be amazed by a spectacular panorama that reveals the beauty and scale of Vancouver, and the grandeur of the Pacific Ocean as it graces the coastline for as far as the eye can see.
The Grouse Grind®
The Grouse Grind® is a 2.5-kilometre trail up the face of Grouse Mountain, commonly referred to as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster".
If you are hiking up the Grouse Grind, purchase a Download Ticket for your Skyride trip down the mountain. Downhill hiking is not permitted.
BCMC Trail
Tackle the challenging 2.9 kilometre BCMC Trail which exits at the top of Grouse Mountain. The BCMC Trail promises to provide you with a fresh hiking and fitness challenge. Embrace the thrill of a new adventure to The Peak of Vancouver.

You’ll find all this and more at our research, education and conservation centre on the mountain. The Refuge also offers leading-edge interpretative programs that make learning about nature fun and fascinating.

Ranger Talks
How do you know when Grizzly Bears are playing or when they really mean business? Why do ravens hover in the sky more at certain times of the day? Our rangers know. Owl Talks
Included with your Mountain Admission ticket, Owl Talks are hosted by our wildlife specialists daily during the summer season. We also currently offer an online education program, Owls of Grouse Mountain. Featuring one of our Owl Ambassadors, the live virtual session teaches students about these amazing “silent-flying” raptors. Can an owl turn its head 360 degrees? Why are they called raptors? Do they really give a “hoot”? Learn these interesting answers and so much more.
Birds In Motion
For thousands of years man has been captivated by the effortless flight of birds of prey. From the aerial majesty of a Golden Eagle soaring on the thermals, to the breathtaking rush of a Peregrine Falcon diving from the sky, these birds have captured our hearts and imaginations. Now Grouse Mountain, in cooperation with the Pacific Northwest Raptors, invites you to witness some of nature's finest athletes demonstrate what they do best - "free flight".
Witness the incredible hunting skills of the eagle, hawk and falcon. Prepare to be awed by the incredible flying skills of the Peregrine Falcon, the world's fastest living animal. Learn why the Red-tailed Hawk, North America's most common raptor, is such a successful species or meet a Golden Eagle, one of BC's largest birds of prey.
Lumberjack Show
Grouse Mountain’s Lumberjack Show features a crew of champion performers showcasing their skills. An impressive outdoor set features two logging camps from the early 1900s, where Johnny Nelson from the Green River logging camp prepares to battle Willie McGee from Blue Mountain to determine the top lumberjack. The show offers fast-paced entertainment and features log rolling, a 60-foot tree climb, two-man peg and raker saws, axe throwing, and an exciting springboard chop - the only three-board event in North America.
Mountain Ropes Adventure
Clip in. Suspend. Discover!
Balance, jump, climb, swing and zipline your way through the trees on our Mountain Ropes Adventure - a series of aerial ropes courses with varying degrees of difficulty.
Guides will provide you with harnesses, teach you tips and tricks from the ground and ensure a safe and fun environment as you weave your way through the different elements of the courses.
Navigate plank bridges, rock climbing walls, nets and ziplines as you make your way across the series of platforms. With so many different features and difficulty levels, the Ropes Course is a great activity regardless of if you want to test your strength and agility, or simply play in the treetop canopy with your family or friends.
Mountain Ziplines Tours: 3-Line
Experience an exhilarating tour through the treetops of Grouse Mountain! Our dual-line circuit will get your adrenaline pumping as you spend an incredible 45 minutes touring with our experienced guides. Explore the mountaintop while reaching speeds of up to 55km/h and taking in breathtaking views of Vancouver and the nearby mountain ranges.
Tandem Paragliding
Experience the exhilarating rush of adventure at Grouse Mountain with Tandem Paragliding! Feel the wind in your hair and take in panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, forests, and the city below.
For Tandem Paragliding, the pilot and the passenger are attached to each other to the wing by a harness system. The passenger sits in front of the pilot to enjoy the flight and views. Experience the freedom of flying like a bird without needing any prior experience or training.

Guided Eco-walks
Learn about local flora and fauna, the history of Grouse Mountain and the local geology of the North Shore mountains. This 45-minute walk with a knowledgeable Grouse Mountain guide will take you across the mountain plateau and the serene Blue Grouse Lake area, home of the híwus feasthouse and cultural centre.
Guided Eco-Walks are included with a Mountain Admission Ticket or Annual Pass.
Mountain Coaster
Located to left of The Cut, adventurers will be taken on an exhilarating ride of twists and turns, weaving through a series of trees and exciting features before being greeted by an awe-inspiring view of Vancouver. The track is a permanent structure, and a closed circuit which will return guests to the mountaintop without having to exit the cart.
