Cross Country Skiing
The Panorama Nordic Centre at Greywolf offers more than 20+ km of regularly groomed trails dedicated to cross-country skiing. Through forest and alongside Toby Creek, the cross-country specific trails provide an uncrowded experience in spectacular mountain scenery.
Please pay for trail fees at the Panorama Nordic Centre, located at the Greywolf Golf Course Clubhouse. You can also pick up your Nordic ticket at the Guest Services Desk in Ski Tip Lodge.
All trails are now dog friendly. Please review our Dog Use Policy before arrival.
Fat Biking
Since its debut in western Canada more than decade ago Winter fat biking has never looked back. With over-sized tires perfect for riding on packed snow, a fat bike is a fun way to explore the quiet multi-use trails and snowy roads around the resort. Our fat bike trails offer both a single track and groomed double track shared trails with snowshoers.
All trails are dog friendly. Please review our Dog Use Policy before arrival.

Important:
- Stay on designated trails!
- When on shared cross country trails ride on shoulder and not on the track set for classic cross-country skiers.
- Tires must be 3.75" or wider with a tire pressure of less than 10 PSI, no exceptions.
- Please observe trail signage and practice trail courtesy.

For over 50 seasons, RK Heliski has been sharing its passion for deep powder Canadian heli-skiing and snowboarding. The legendary Jumbo Valley and many others comprise of perfect gladded tree runs, where the higher elevations of the Purcell Mountains, offer the open bowls and glaciated runs.
Being one of the highest helicopter operations in North America awards us many advantages over our competition. Consistent, light snow, very few cancelled days – 2 per year average, not to mention the huge amount of vertical you will be skiing.
Opening day for the 2023/24 season is December 21. RK Heliski will be offering 3 run, 5 run, Semi Private and Private Platinum packages this winter.
3 or 5 Run Powder Adventure:
Our 3 Run and 5 Run packages are built for day heli skiers looking for a single or multiday adventure. Perfect for experts as well as first timers who seek to take their powder addiction to the next level.
Bell 212 Semi Private:
If having your own private group is important, this semi-private package is for you. Based on 5 runs, ski in your own group at your own pace.
ASTAR Semi Private:
A smaller, more private experience for you and 3 others. This package includes 5 Runs in our sporty ASTAR helicopter. Although you will not have exclusive use of the helicopter, it will feel like the mountains are all yours!
ASTAR Private Platinum:
Small, fast and efficient - both the helicopter and your group of 4! Ski or board between 9 & 12 runs. This package averages between 8000vm - 12000vm. This Private will knock your ski socks off! Exclusive use of the helicopter to explore our vast tenure.
Bell 212 Private Platinum:
This is the pinnacle of private helicopter skiing. Exploring North America’s highest Heliski tenures. Our Bell 212 is yours for the day. Two guides means distant horizons are fair game for fresh tracks and new unexplored runs.
All our packages include breakfast, lunch and après snack. Powder skis/poles and snowboard, guest pack containing probe, shovel as well as your transceiver.

Ice Skating
Enjoy a few spins around our in-resort skating rink! Located just past the Candy Cabin, outside Summit and 1000 Peaks Lodges, the skating rink has a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Skate rentals are available from Mountain Outfitters.
- Please note, this is an outdoor ice surface and as such is subject to variable weather conditions. This is a pure Canadian pond skating experience. Staying true to its nature, at times the rink will be rough or snow covered. Please take caution when using the rink.

Other skating options in the Columbia Valley
If a small rink doesn't quite cut it for you, the Columbia Valley is home to a number of outdoor skating areas.
The Windermere Whiteway: Located in Invermere at Kinsmen Beach, the Whiteway is the world's longest continuous skating trail and offers nearly 30km of skating, multiple hockey rinks, cross-country skiing and fat tire biking on the spectacular frozen expanse of Lake Windermere.
Lake Lillian: Is a picturesque lake with skating and cross-country ski trails, located about half way between Panorama and Invermere.

Invermere on the Lake
Situated just 20 mins below Panorama, the quaint downtown district of Invermere offers stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere with trendy, funky boutiques, restaurants, cafés, galleries, specialty shops and grocery stores.

Winter Shuttle Service (Free)
The Mountain and Valley Shuttle connects Invermere and Panorama during the busy winter months of December - April. This service allows you to visit an authentic B.C. mountain town and enjoy a host of unique shopping, dining and recreational activities. Skate on the huge Lake Windermere, watch a game of hard-hitting hockey or shop for unique local artworks. The Mountain and Valley Shuttle is supported by the District of Invermere and tourism operators in the Columbia Valley.

Are you an intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder looking for a way to see Panorama Mountain the way the locals do? Let our Mountain Friends be your guide to the mountain and cross-country trails.
Mountain tours at 10 AM and 1:30 PM daily. Nordic tours from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM Thursday to Sunday.
Tours suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders.

Alpine (Skiers and snowboarders): Daily at 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM during the winter season. Nordic: Friday to Sunday at 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM during the winter season.

Alpine: Simply meet in front of the Ski Tip Lodge. Look for the Mountain Friend sign and bright yellow jackets! Nordic: Meet in front of Greywolf Club House. Look for the blue jackets!
Mountain Hut Dining
Summit Hut
Located 2,450 m / 8,038 ft at the summit of Panorama, this charming hut serves up 360° views alongside smokies, soups, burgers, tacos and Ray's famous chili. Top it off with their liquor filled signature coffees, refreshing beverages and alcoholic drinks. The views from the expansive deck provide the perfect backdrop for capturing that picturesque Panorama moment. The hut itself is wood heated and guests can also warm up on the deck around a large outdoor wood fired stove.
Seating is non-reservable.

Elkhorn Cabin
The Elkhorn Cabin is located on the side of the slopes, midway down Rollercoaster and boasts some of the best views on the mountain. This historical cabin serves up intimate lunches featuring homemade soups and traditional Swiss alpine style cheese grill (Raclette) and features dozen of BC wines, craft beers and liqueurs. Raclette is a decadent Swiss tradition where Raclette cheese is melted and served over an assortment of breads, vegetables and meats.
Outdoor Café
Thursday - Sunday, 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM. The Elkhorn is expanding to make place for an extra seating area outside where guests will be able to enjoy hot beverages from a new espresso machine, baked goods and meals comfortably. Order at the kitchen window and be served at your seat outside.
Dining in
Everyday, 11:00 AM - 3:45 PM. The Elkhorn Cabin will welcome guests inside to savour its renowned raclette. Groups between 2 and 6 people will have a choice of homemade soup, raclette and homemade dessert. The Elkhorn Cabin's classic Gluhwein and Kootenay hot apple cider will be available, along with a great selection of BC wines by the glass or bottle.

NEW! Elkhorn Cabin Alpine Fondue Experience
Grab a dozen friends and pre-book this gourmet experience for the ultimate après. Aside from the coolest ride on earth (our Monster X snowcat), this gourmet experience features fondue and raclette, charcoal grilled steak and mushrooms, salad as well as chocolate fondue prepared just for your group's evening après.
You'll ride up to and down from dinner by passenger snowcat (departing from the village at 5:30 PM) making this an all abilities alpine affair.
Offered on Friday and Saturday, this is a bucket list experience you'll want to add to the itinerary.

Authentic Cheese Fondue Luncheon
For a truly unique experience, visit the Elkhorn for their famous Cheese Fondue Party. Available for large groups (minimum size of 8 people) enjoy a special three cheese blend made with Swiss Cheeses, white wine and kirsch, served with French bread, potatoes, pears, apples, grapes and a selection of specialty air dried meats. For an extra decadent meal, add a chocolate fondue.

Hut One
Found at the top the Mile 1 Express, this tiny hut is surrounded by an oversized deck with views of the mountains and village. Serving up grilled sandwiches, warm beverages and an array of snacks, Hut One will be your new favourite stop on your way up the slopes to relax by a firepit, and enjoy the view.
Outdoor Pools
All Panorama lodging guests have access to the pools, hot tubs with their room key card. Children will enjoy splashing around and swimming in the pools, while adults can relax in the hot tubs and let the jets gently massage their worries away.
Please note that you must be an overnight lodging guest at Panorama to access resort pools and hot tubs. Pools or hot tubs may be closed for maintenance and upgrades from time to time. We will try to provide advanced notice of any planned and lengthy closures.

The Mile 1 Quad lets all levels explore lower slopes with ease. The Champagne Express increases your adventure, opening the gate to endless blue and black trails. And the Summit Chair is your gateway to jaw dropping new challenges in the Extreme Dream Zone and Taynton Bowl. Enjoy a groomed trail ride to the alpine with the opportunity for off-trail free playtime in the Paradise Basin, visit the enchanting frozen Marmot Falls, and experience the remnants of an early 1900s silver mining town located at 8000 feet. Refuel with a barbecue from our local butcher and baker and a hot drink — cozy up beside the fireplace in our alpine cabin, or enjoy the incredible view from the deck near the old mine shaft.

A scenic groomed trail ride to the Paradise Cabin with the opportunity to ride the groomed trail through Paradise Basin. Snowshoeing
Snowshoes allow you to float on top of the snow making walking through the forest in the winter easier. Snowshoeing is easy to learn and a great way to enjoy a beautiful day in the forest and snow. There are several different trails around the resort for you to explore independently, or if you prefer a guided tour we host a variety of snowshoe activities throughout the week.

Tandem Paragliding
A WINTER EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER!
It's a view that's rarely seen. The snow, chairlifts and forests dropping away beneath your skis as you soar above the peaks strapped into a parachute with your expert instructor.
Take flight over Panorama and experience the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valley. We must warn you that paragliding is highly addictive and may result in a strong dependency on the sport.
- $220 + tax. Does not include lift access.
- Only 1 person per flight.
- Flights depart at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 1 pm and 2:30 pm daily and must be booked 24 hours in advance.
- Skis are required. If you are a snowboarder you'll need to switch to two planks for this experience as the takeoff with a snowboard is not recommended due to the body positioning on the board.
- The flight experience will last between 60 - 90 minutes which includes preparation, training and the flight. You are in the air for around 10 -15 minutes depending on weather conditions and flying style. The landing area is at the Greywolf Golf Course driving range on the left of Outrider.
Guests are to meet their instructor at the top of Roller Coaster near the washrooms, and must be of intermediate skiing ability and provide their own helmet. Guest must have a lift ticket. They can use a full day ticket if they are planning to ski afterwards, a season pass, or purchase the one run Paraglide Ticket.
