An IFSA-sanctioned Freeride World Tour Qualifying 2* event in Separate Reality.
IFSA Qualifier competitive Freeride events are open to adult athletes 18 and older. Points earned are applied towards Freeride World Tour qualification and an athlete's Global Seeding List ranking. It is an open event, but IFSA membership is required.
2*EVENT REGISTRATION + INVITE PROCESS
Registration information will always be posted on the IFSA Event Pages. The Global Seeding List ranking will be used to determine registration priority for IFSA Qualifier 2* events. To earn an invitation to an event, riders must sign up for the waitlist during the 2-week long registration window. Registration wopen approximately 6 weeks prior to the event and close approximately 4 weeks prior to the event. Invitations will be issued from highest to lowest ranked rider, based on availability. If spaces remain for unranked riders, these riders will be awarded invitations based ON THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY REGISTERED.
FOR UNRANKED RIDERS
Unranked riders hoping to gain entry to 2* events should register as soon as the registration window opens. The order in which an unranked rider registers will determine the order in which their invitation is issued. Ranked riders will be invited first, dictated by the Global Seeding List. Any remaining invitations will then be issued to unranked riders for each athlete division in the order in which they registered. The likelihood of admission to Qualifier 2* events for unranked riders will depend upon the demand or popularity of that event.
GLOBAL SEEDING LIST
The Global Seeding List will be used to establish registration priority within the registration pool to issue invitations for IFSA Qualifier 2* level events. The Global Seeding List compiles a rider’s three best results from the previous 52 weeks. Once 52 weeks have elapsed from the competition date, that result will expire and no longer be included in a rider’s Global Seeding List ranking.
The Global Seeding List ranks the following riders:
