SilverStar mountain has incredible terrain from long green and blue cruisers to steep powder-filled chutes. Explore 3,282 acres (1,328 hectares) with 132 runs and 12 gladed areas serviced by 10 lifts. Skiers of all levels love the perfectly groomed runs and wide open spaces of Vance Creek. For those up to a challenge, jump on the high speed Powder Gulch Quad and access the double black diamonds and steep chutes on the back side.
Cross Country Skiing
There’s no better way to experience the beauty of SilverStar than exploring our cross-country trails!
Begin with over 55 km of trails at SilverStar, varying in difficulty from Green to Blue to Black.

Ice Skating
Lace-up and glide across Brewer's Pond!
Gear up for some old fashioned pond hockey or enjoy a romantic skate on the ice and experience the magic of Silver Star on ice.
2.5 acres of natural skating magic! Glide and twirl around the charming natural ice pond. With a natural skating surface and outdoor fire and music, you’ll want to share the experience with your whole family. Once you are done ripping up the ice enjoy a hot chocolate or other warm beverage from Tube Town Cafe. A great experience for all ages.
Winter Tubing
Slide, spin, and swerve at Tube Town!
Get ready for tubing in a safe, controlled environment. We supply truck-sized inner tubes with safety handles. Day tickets are available at the Tube Town Ticket Office.
Paradise Camp Dinner Tours
Experience the moonlight magic of the mountain!
Climb aboard the Paradise Express snow cat and trek through the mountain under moonlit skies to Paradise Camp, located at Putnam Creek on the backside of the mountain.
Paradise Camp has a warm and charming ambience and offers a unique dining experience in cozy mountain setting. Enjoy a romantic, 3-course, lantern-lit dinner, with an option to purchase from a selection of wine, beer and craft cocktails to pair with your meal.
Ravenwood Snowshoe Dinner Tours

Snowshoeing
Explore our enchanting forest!
Breath in the crisp air and explore the forest on foot. Snowshoeing is a favourite pastime for winter enthusiasts because you can get out and enjoy the outdoors completely at your own pace. It's low risk, and the health benefits are great! We offer 16 km of singletrack trails weaving in and around the forested area and lower cross country trails.
Fat Biking
Another way to explore the mountain!
Enjoy SilverStar's 15 kms of single and double track fat bike trails. The history of fat-bikes begins in the late 1980s when regular bikes were modified to allow racers to compete in the Iditabike (later to become Iditasport) race in Alaska. They are designed to ride on soft unstable terrains like snow and sand.
Night Skiing

Enjoy the mountain on Friday & Saturday nights with 4kms of both beginner and intermediate groomed and lit trails. Trails can be accessed by the Gondola, Silver Queen Chair and "The Zone" Magic Carpet.

Paradise Camp has a warm and charming ambiance and offers a unique dining experience and superb views of the Monashee Mountains. Enjoy a romantic, 3 course, lantern-lit dinner, and a chef-prepared menu with an extensive selection of wine, cocktails and martinis to pair with your meal.

Our volunteer mountain hosts offer their knowledge of the best runs, hidden treasures and local secrets. The hosts have a vast knowledge of all of the village facilities not limited to but including; the SnowSports programs, guest service offerings, restaurant recommendations, upcoming special events, mountain deals and the ski terrain offered at SilverStar, both Alpine and Nordic. Bear Byway Scavenger Hunt
Discover the bears along the Bear Byway & Learn!
Working with local partners, we’ve created an Interpretive Trail around Brewers Pond at Silver Star. This engaging loop features seven unique bear sculptures created by well-known artists from BC, and educational signs about bear behavior and safety. Meet Scrapper, a dancing bear made entirely from repurposed materials and stop by the Rub Tree to learn how bears communicate. This trail aims to teach visitors and locals about our bears while fostering respect and understanding for wildlife. Answer questions about bears as you roam, and once you are finished, bring your completed sheet to Guest Services to receive a free sticker!
